The Centre for Social and Behavioural Change was founded by and is a part of Ashoka University. It is dedicated to expanding and sharing knowledge and underscoring behavioural science’s role in building public policies that directly impact society. Their mission, supported by the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, is to build an institution that betters the world by engineering impactful behaviour change interventions for marginalized populations.
We were approached to redefine their brand by creating a new identity which drew from both their old identity and the way they wanted to define their path moving forward.
Ripples of Change
CSBC designs, creates and builds innovative social and behavioural tools that enable ripples of change in the community. The new logo and brand elements symbolically and literally embody transformation and new learning. It strives to reflect CSBC’s USP, as the first behavioral institute in India that provides complete end to end solutions that have measurable impact at a human level.
The brand colors depict the CSBC story and mission through the pause points of a gradient. Purple, Burgundy, Claret and a deep warm Orange signify key stages of transition and transformation. The colour family was developed to convey wisdom, decisiveness, warmth and a scientific temperament.
