The architectural design concept for the project was derived out of the company’s ideology. Proderna stands for ‘products derived from nature’. We imbibed the ideas of bio-mimicry with reference to nature and reflected that through the living cells structure on the outer façade of the building. The factory has three functions i.e. manufacturing, warehouses and office. As large height is required for the manufacturing zone, the building is conceived in split levels to add interest and subsequently carved out spaces for social interaction as an extension to the office block.
